Abby to the rescue... *plays corny hero music*

I am feeling really proud of myself today. Now... I am not usually one to give my time to charity, but here at my work, we are volunteering our time for the American Red Cross. We are taking calls from people who are wanting to contribute to the hurricane relief for the disaster that is going on in the south. so.... I am here taking calls and submitting it for charity. I have to say... I am having a lot of fun. I was a little nervous at first, but now I am confident and feel like I am doing a good thing. I am no humanist.... maybe even far from it, but I am feeling good about what I am doing. So... On September 2nd of 2005 I volunteered 4 hours (8pm-12pm) of my time to do my part to keep the world running. God/dess knows we could use it.... So far, at 10:29 pm I helped to raise $380.00 for the Red Cross. I have about an hour and a half to go. There were a few agents that had a caller contribute 10,000.00 twice for the cause.

I never do this, but I am feeling wierd... Send a prayer to whom ever you call your God or Goddess to the people who are suffering, and not just for the south, but all across the world. Just a thought, a brief moment of time to dedicate to those who are in danger and who are in devistation. Who knows, something good will come to you in return. Mind the rule you see...What goes around, comes around times three...
